I was a member of the Buttonsmith Senior Leadership Team for over seven years. My ability to set strategy and execute on it proved invaluable. My experience was critical for decision making, corporate leadership and collaboration.
As the head of the marketing team at Buttonsmith, I led all marketing activities across the company. Regular collaboration with development, customer service, production and product design was a part of my daily activities. At various points during my tenure at Buttonsmith, I had individuals directly reporting to me.
One of my critical, but unspoken roles at Buttonsmith was as a mentor and collaborator. I routinely mentored the customer service team and as chief of staff provided support and leadership to the production team lead.
Throughout my career I have hired and managed outside consultants and agencies. From graphic designers to developers, I have regularly led projects with outside teams as critical pieces to the success of the project. I believe that it is extremely helpful to use outside consultants to help fill in gaps and move projects along.
