Featuring a comprehensive ‘About’ section and a curated selection of news articles, the site offered a thorough insight into Buttonsmith’s operations, values, and achievements.
MerchBlue Website

The MerchBlue website was crafted to assist political campaigns, candidates, and organizations in integrating custom merchandise into their ActBlue pages or personal websites. Given the limitations of Inksoft’s design capabilities, I wrote HTML code that enabled the addition of more dynamic content options. This effort included the development of a ‘Configure Merch For ActBlue’ section (see above), enhancing the site’s functionality. Additionally, the website boasts a comprehensive blog and instructional pages, all of which I personally authored, providing valuable insights and guidance to our users.
Emails were sent using Hubspot CRM and customer segmentation to target correct email recipients.
Promotional
Crafting promotional emails was a core activity within our ongoing marketing strategy. These communications ranged from introducing new products and highlighting promotional offers to disseminating informational content. These emails kept our audience engaged and informed about our latest developments and opportunities.
Investor
Throughout the Wefunder crowdfunding campaign and following it, we maintained regular communication with both current and potential investors. These updates were characterized by their straightforward design, focusing primarily on delivering concise updates about the company’s current status and recent achievements. The goal was to keep our investor community well-informed about our progress and milestones.
I possess extensive experience in numerous facets of video creation, encompassing the filming of original content, the modification of stock footage, and the repurposing of videos originally crafted for one objective to serve another. My portfolio includes a diverse range of video projects, from corporate branding videos to product showcases and instructional guides. I am proficient in several advanced video editing software applications, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Promo.com, and Adobe Express, enabling me to produce high-quality, engaging visual content tailored to a variety of purposes.
I adapted a video initially created for Buttonsmith’s Wefunder campaign to develop a brand video suitable for Shopify, YouTube, and Etsy platforms. This process involved shooting additional content to seamlessly integrate into existing footage, replacing sections with investment-specific language, and refining the video to align with broader brand promotion objectives.
Producing product-centric videos for Amazon and Shopify listings played a crucial role in boosting both traffic and sales. This video introduced a new leash design, aiming to highlight its utility and distinctive features compared to traditional leashes. This strategic approach was designed to engage potential customers by demonstrating the product’s unique value and functionality.
Buttonsmith received numerous customer inquiries about adjusting their dog collars. In response, I produced and appeared in a video, featuring my dog, Islay, to demonstrate the proper method for adjusting the collar to ensure a correct fit. This instructional video aimed to address customer questions effectively, enhancing their experience with the product.
In 2023, Buttonsmith introduced a direct-to-garment t-shirt printing service, enabling the offering of custom, on-demand t-shirts via Amazon. I developed an advertisement video to support the launch of this new product line. The video was crafted using stock footage, into which custom shirt designs were integrated, showcasing the unique customization options available to customers. This promotional video played a key role in introducing and highlighting the innovative service to the market.
